Smurfit Kappa Saint Petersburg scooped two awards at the 2017 Part Awards which took place in Russia. According to the announcement, the awards ceremony of the Best Part Pack 2017 contest was held as part of the 22nd international packaging exhibition, RosUpack2017.
The company secured first place in the “Alcoholic Beverages” category for a vodka gift box and second place in the “Cosmetics and Pharmaceuticals” category for the Inkosmetik Newtone promotional gift set. These awards follow on from the “Packaging for food products and beverages” award won in the “ProdExstraPak-2017” contest.

RosUpack is the largest exhibition for the packaging industry in Russia and Eastern Europe.
Earlier Smurfit Kappa announced a multi-million euro investment into a new technology at its Nettingsdorf Paper Mill in Austria.
