SCA converted 348 Class A shares in Class B shares in May 2017

SCA informed that in May 2017, at the request of shareholders 348 Class A shares were converted to Class B shares. The total number of votes in the company thereafter amounts to 1,283,684,808.

The total number of registered shares in the company amounts to 702,342,489 of which 64,593,591 are Class A shares and 637,748,898 are Class B shares.

SCA’s articles of association state that owners of Class A shares have the right to have such shares converted to Class B shares. Conversion reduces the total number of votes in the company. When such a conversion has occurred, the company is obligated by law to disclose any such changes in this manner.

Earlier SCA limited conversion of Class A shares in Class B shares due to the split into forest products and hygiene and health companies.
