Pomor Timber plans to commission 1.5 million m3 sawmill in Russia by 2019

Pomor Timber expects to start production at the company’s new wood processing complex in the Arkhangelsk Region of Russia. According to the official announcement of the regional government, the investment is expected to be completed by 1Q2019 creating around 1,650 new jobs in the region.

The production complex has a design capacity of 1.5 million m3 of sawnwood:

  • two lines of the total capacity of 0.6  million m3 of fine wood
  • one 0.9 million m3 of  thick wood
