Lemeks invests into a new plywood plant in Estonia

LETA Informational agency informed that AS Lemeks, the Estonian forest and wood processing company, plans to invest around EUR 30 million into a new birch veneer and plywood factory in Viruvere, Jogeva County in eastern Estonia. Start of the production is scheduled for 2019.

Earlier this year, the company established Estonian Plywood AS. The company has also purchased nearly 10 hectares of industrial land for the facility. The company plans to producer around 25,000-30,000 m3 of birch plywood, processing 65,000-85,000 m3 of birch logs.
