Koehler increases prices for thermal papers from September 15, 2017

Papierfabrik August Koehler SE, a leading manufacturer of thermal papers, prices for thermal paper by 6 – 8% from September 15, 2017 onwards.

The company explains the step with further increasing costs for pulp, chemicals and logistics.

Previously the company announced price increase for carbonless paper from September 15, 2017.

The company is specialized in high-quality special papers in the segments of: thermal, carbonless, fine, technical speciality, colored and decor papers as well as wood pulp board. It has a turnover of EUR 675 million and sells around 500kt of paper annually. Koehler has four production locations in Germany: Oberkirch (HQ), Kehl, Greiz and Weisenbach. It employs around  1800 people.
