Koehler increases prices for carbonless paper from September 15, 2017

Papierfabrik August Koehler SE, a leading manufacturer of thermal papers, announced  up to 12% price increase for  carbonless paper effective worldwide for all deliveries from September 15, 2017 onwards.

The company explains the step with insufficient returns combined with further increasing costs for pulp, special chemicals, additives and logistics.

Previously the company announced 7% global price increase for FineTech Paper for deliveries from July 1, 2017 onwards.

It has a turnover of EUR 675 million and sells around 500kt of paper annually. Koehler has four production locations in Germany: Oberkirch (HQ), Kehl, Greiz and Weisenbach. It employs around  1800 people.
