Kährs Group increased EBITA margin to 9.5% level in January-June 2017

Kährs Group, a world leading manufacturer of wood flooring and PVC-free resilient flooring,  reported increase of profitability amid sales growth in January-June 2017. According to the announcement, the company’s net sales totaled SEK 792 million (around USD 97.7 million), which is 3% more than in corresponding period of 2016.

At the same time, the company’s adjusted EBITA grew up by 23% accounting for SEK 75 million, representing 9.5% margin (8.1% in January-June 2016).

Christer Persson, President and CEO of  Kährs Group, commented:
“Kährs Group showed stable sales growth and continued improvement in operating profit in the second quarter. Our three hardwood flooring segments, Nordics, Europe and Other Markets, all contributed to the sales increase of 5% compared with the previous year.

The Kährs Group continues to develop in a positive direction. We have a good strategic platform to continue our profitable growth, with strength in our production facilities, our wide range of products and our well-established international sales organisation.”

Earlier, Kährs Group signed an agreement to supply wood flooring to the property developer Ikano Bostad.
