Evertree opened its first innovation center in Venette (Northern France), France.

The new center is covering 1000 m², it is dedicated to the development of viable alternatives to fossil-based products using new techniques to exploit vegetable proteins, a renewable and promising agricultural raw material. The center was officially opened on July 10, 2017.

The center contains three main units: a Proteochem® (protein chemistry) laboratory; an industrial unit to test applications and another unit to develop processes and manage product manufacture.

The new center was opened a little more than a year after creation of Evertree, which associated the Avril Group, the “Sociétés de Projets Industriels” (SPI) investment fund working under the French Government’s Investments for the Future PIA) program and managed by Bpifrance, and the Israeli start-up Biopolymer Technologies.

About Evertree:

The company is revolutionizing industrial processes and materials. It was established to create a viable alternative to fossil-based chemicals by solving all the issues related to producing cost-competitive, plant-based chemicals on an industrial scale.
