EACOM installed a new continuous dry kiln at its sawmill in Canada

EACOM Timber Corporation completed the installation of a Continuous Dry Kiln at its Timmins sawmill in the province of Ontario in Canada.

According to the announcement, the new system is designed to accelerate the wood drying process by continuously cycling lumber through the kiln with significant energy efficiency gains. The annual capacity of the sawmill will increase to 160 million board feet because of this technological upgrade.
