Cham Paper expects to increase operating profit in 1H2017

Cham Paper Group reported positive financial and economic performance for 1H2017. According to the announcement, in the first half-year, the gGroup expects to achieve an operating profit of CHF 9 to 10 million (prior year period CHF 5.2 million) at a slightly lower revenue level of around CHF 100 million (prior year period CHF 103.8 million).

The result is formed by an increasing concentration on the sale of specialty papers with higher margins amid  efficiency enhancements at the company’s factories.

The Cham Paper Group expects to release details about the first half year on August 17, 2017.

In 2016 Cham Paper Group reported net revenue of approximately CHF 198 million (around USD 197 million) in 2016, an 1.9% increase from the previous year’s CHF 194.3 million result.
