Belarus plans to process 20 million m3 of wood in 2018

Belarussian informational agency Belta informed, referring to the words of the Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, that the country plans to process 20 million m3 of wood in the next year and expects to increase the volume to 30-35  million m3 in the future.

The development will be supported by increase of the output at the existing plants as well as start of the bleached pulp production at Svetlogorsk pulp & board plant.


Earlier Belarus planed to double the amount of harvested wood by 2020.
