Bashundhara plans to increase tissue  production capacity in India in four times in the next five years

Bashundhara Group plans to increase its tissue  production capacity  by four times within the next five years. In 2000 the company was producing a tonne of tissue daily and currently reached a level of 200 tonnes every day. Its next objective is 1000 tonnes per day.

Ahmed Akbar Sobhan, Bashundhara Group Chairman, commented:

“With all of your devotion, sincerity and hard work, we will produce 1000 tonnes tissue daily within the next five years.”

The group is also going to launch several new products soon. It will launch pant diaper, mosquito coil and some stationery products.

Earlier Bashundhara Paper Mills held a Distributor Conference for Dhaka Region in India
