Acadian Timber appointed a new CFO

Acadian Timber  appointed Ms. Mabel Wong as Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer, effective  July 27, 2017. Ms. Wong replaces Mr. Wyatt Hartley.

Mabel Wong has been a key member of Brookfield Asset Management’s team for the past ten years and has held a number of senior finance roles within the organization. She is a Chartered Accountant and worked at one of the big four accounting firms prior to joining Brookfield.

Earlier Acadian Timber announced that the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) has approved its notice of intention to make a normal course issuer bid for a portion of its common shares.
