VPK and Klingele will jointly invest into corrugated cardboard packaging of the Peterson Group

VPK Packaging Group and Klingele  will join forces to continue investing into the corrugated cardboard packaging business of Peterson Group in Scandinavia.

Peterson was acquired by VPK from its previous owner Pemco in October 2016. To guarantee future growth in the Nordic market the new owner  launched an extensive investment plan in all three core markets of Peterson: Norway, Sweden and Denmark. The master plan is focused on quality certification, product innovation and productivity increase. Now Klingele is joining the plan through a 26% shareholding.

The Peterson Group manufactures corrugated cardboard packaging in six sites in Norway, Sweden and Denmark, achieving a total turnover of EUR 160 million.

Earlier VPK Packaging reached an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of SolidPack.
