Sojitz and Seihoku Plywood created a new company to produce coated plywood for concrete forming in Japan

Sojitz Corporation together with Seihoku Plywood Corporation established a new company to produce coated plywood for concrete forming. The new company is named Dolphin Coat Corporation.

According to the announcement, already in May 2017, Sojitz Building Materials Corporation plans to begin sales of Dolphin Coat’s coated softwood plywood for concrete forming under the company’s original brand name – “Dolphin Coat,” aiming for annual turnover of JPY 6 billion (around USD 55 million) by 2018.

Earlier Sojitz Corporation named Yoji Sato as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
