Smurfit Kappa appointed a new Board member

Smurfit Kappa appointed Jørgen Buhl Rasmussen to the Board as an independent non-executive Director with immediate effect.

Jørgen Buhl Rasmussen was President and CEO of Carlsberg Group from 2007 to 2015. Appointed to the Executive Board of Carlsberg A/S in 2006, he previously held senior positions covering Western, Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia in several global FMCG companies, including Gillette Group, Duracell, Mars and Unilever. He is Chairman of Novozymes AS, a biotechnology company and Chairman of Uhrenholt AS, a global food wholesaling company.
