Sherwood Lumber appointed Wade Hickson as Senior Vice President of Sales, effective April 3, 2017. Mr. Hickson is reporting to Kyle Little, Chief Operating Officer of Sherwood Lumber.
According to the announcement, in his new role with the company, Mr. Hickson has been entrusted to grow key customer accounts, define clear channel strategies, and partner relationships that tactically meld with Sherwood Lumber’s core business objectives. His responsibilities also include the creation of the company’s go-to-market strategy, assisting in formulating and administering best practices, and identifying and implementing opportunities whether in new products or demographics.
Wade Hickson brings 18 years of building materials experience in a variety of leadership roles within sales, manufacturing, and distribution. He has a proven track record of improving profitability, growing sales programs internationally, developing people, designing and implementing channel strategies.

Earlier Sherwood Lumber Corporation announced the establishment of a California-based sales office.
