Papyrus plans to invest into a new logistical hub in Germany

Papyrus, a leading European merchant in paper, facility supplies and industrial packaging, announced the plan to invest in a new logistical hub in Cologne, Germany to optimise its logistical infrastructure and improve the service offering of paper specialties to its customers across Europe.

According to the annoucement, the new 22,000 m2 state-of-the-art warehouse will be accompanied with a paper competence center for service development, training and customer seminars. It is expected to open in early 2018.

The investment follows the earlier developments in Switzerland through the acquisition of Inapa Switzerland in December 2016 and the acquisition of the Swedish Viscom company Olsonic.

Earlier Papyrus AB has completed its previously announced acquisition of 100% of the shares in Procurator AB from RoosGruppen AB after approval of the Swedish Competition Authority.
