Madison Dearborn Partners invests into U.S. Lumber

Madison Dearborn Partners (MDP), a private equity firm based in Chicago, invests into U.S. Lumber Group, a distributor of specialty building products in the Eastern US.

According to the annoucement, after completion of the transaction, the existing management team will remain in place and work with MDP to execute a strategy of pursuing geographic and product offering expansion.

Earlier U.S. Lumber started distributing Georgia-Pacific’s engineered lumber products into the Baltimore market in the USA.
