Koehler, a leading manufacturer of thermal papers, increased prices by 7%

Papierfabrik August Koehler SE, a leading manufacturer of thermal papers, announced 7% global price increase for deliveries from May 15, 2017.

The company explains the step with constantly rising costs, especially for pulp.

Previously the company appointed Dr. Stefan Karrer as a new COO.

About Koehler:

The company is specialized in high-quality special papers in the segments of: thermal, carbonless, fine, technical speciality, colored and decor papers as well as wood pulp board. It has a turnover of EUR 675 million and sells around 500kt of paper annually. Koehler has four production locations in Germany: Oberkirch (HQ), Kehl, Greiz and Weisenbach. It employs around  1800 people.
