Heinzel Group decreased EBITDA margin to 7.6% in 2016

Heinzel Group reported 7.1% decrease of EBITDA amid 19.1% increase of sales revenues in 2016 y-o-y. According to the announcement, the company’s sales revenues accounted for EUR 1,763.3 million, generating EBITDA of EUR 134.1 million (7.6% margin ) in the period.

Kurt Maier, the Heinzel Holding CEO, commented:

“The successful business result in 2016 represents further confirmation of our diversification strategy and underpins our most important decision during the year, which was the conversion of the PM10 in Laakirchen to containerboard production.”
