Fåvang Sag & Hyvleri invests into expansion of its sawmill in Norway

Fåvang Sag & Hyvleri A/S invests around USD 0.6 million into production expansion at its sawmill in Norway. According to the announcement, the company placed an order with RemaSawco for supply of an RS-BoardScannerQ with strength grading and installation of a new PLC control system in the dry sorter. Delivery and commissioning is scheduled during 3Q2017.

Rune Voldsrud, Managing Director of Fåvang Sag & Hyvleri, commented:

We have decided to increasing our production capacity and to further raise the quality of our products. To achieve this, we made a thorough evaluation of prospective partners and our choice fell on RemaSawco, which were considered to have the best platform to enable us reaching our goals.”
